Description

A multipurpose bike trailer (MBT) comprises a bike link bar, a dolly bed, a front frame, a tail bed adapter and a tail bed. It could be configured to: (1) Long or short bed trailer (2) hand trolley (3) skate board (4) Pizza express (5) Dolly. The trailer bed could be used to carry passenger in standing or sitting positions, baby cradle or boxes with tie down net, fixtures or ropes. Carried loads would be user's imagination. Tail bed adapter and the bed could be disconnected from the front frame for light duty applications (see attached details). By adding a small FAI (Fuel-Air Injection) light engine onto the front wheels, it would convert a MBT into a Multipurpose Power Kart (MPK), a powered version could be configured to a power wheel chair, a bike pusher, a personal mobile for last mile connection or a light duty flatbed truck, etc. MBT or MPK take 0.5 X 0.5 X 1 meter to store, Dolly mode would have 100 Kg load rate, Pizza express (high gravity) would have 50 Kg load rate, long or short bed would have 200 Kg load rate. The rider could use front frame handle bar to control the MPK or remote control the engine (bike pusher) through an add on Bluetooth controller on the bike handle bar. For safety reason, max. speed is estimated to be around 24 Km/hr. (15 miles/hr.) FAI light engine would use dual cylinder fuels, range per refill targets to 16Km (10 miles); cylinder A would be propane and cylinder B would be OECA (Oxygen Enriched Compressed Air). FAI would use compressed air to start without the need of starter or heavy battery, its exhaust would meet California or Europe super clean emission standard with very low noises.
